Four Day Weekend brings more improv comedy to the Arts Center on Thursday night, October 12, with some new surprises! 🎵 We’ll have food trucks from Hook & Ladder and Cajun on the go and music from a local DFW band, Jukebox Heroes, as a pre-show to Four Day Weekend. Food will arrive at 5 PM with music to start shortly thereafter in front of the Coppell Arts Center. Eat delicious food while listening to some great music! 🤣 Four Day Weekend will perform in the Main Hall at 7:30 PM. Perfect for date night or a night out with friends! Chris Funk’s REDEFINING WONDER is coming to town on Saturday, October 28th at 2pm and 7:30pm at the Coppell Arts Center. We had the honor of having the original artist of Amos, Mesquite Lt. George Hensley, at Friday night’s Art, Sip, and Stroll. We are so thankful for this generous donation from the Coppell Arts Council, and we are so elated to showcase George’s work!

September’s volunteer of the month to round out our 2022-2023 season is a newer volunteer, Gina! A proud Texan, Gina relocated to Coppell in 1993. For the last 40 years, she’s enjoyed working at an electric utility company. After attending several shows at the Arts Center and recognizing friends who were volunteering their time with the Arts Center, Gina decided to join the volunteer team in February of 2023 and began volunteering at the Arts Center, regularly, in May. Her favorite part of volunteering is not only the other volunteers, but all the patrons she gets to welcome into the building during events. Volunteering at the Arts Center has provided Gina the opportunity of meeting so many different people and attending events she might not otherwise attend. In her free time, Gina likes spending her time outdoors, at the beach where she enjoys making sand art, and with her 2-year-old Dachshund, Louie. Thanks for volunteering your time with the Arts Center the past season, Gina!
