The Nutcracker

STEAMspark is a Montessori school in Farmers Branch, Texas, serving children from infancy through elementary school. Our community combines the individualized, child centered principles of Montessori education with a strong emphasis on academic excellence, curiosity, independence, creativity, and character development.

Our youngest learners begin in thoughtfully prepared Nido and Toddler environments designed to support their rapidly developing independence, language, movement, and social development. As children progress into Primary and Elementary, they experience an increasingly rich academic environment where Montessori materials, hands on exploration, collaborative learning, and individualized instruction help build deep understanding rather than simple memorization.

STEAMspark believes children are capable of extraordinary things when they are provided with the right environment, appropriately challenging work, and educators who understand how to guide their development. Our students are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, take intellectual risks, develop Grace and Courtesy, and become increasingly responsible for their own learning.

Beyond the classroom, STEAMspark provides students with opportunities to explore athletics, the arts, music, technology, STEM, and a wide range of extracurricular experiences as part of a vibrant school community.

Our goal is not simply to prepare children for the next grade. We are building a foundation for children to become confident learners, thoughtful community members, creative problem solvers, and capable young people prepared for what comes next.
